SASSA Grant Payment Dates October 2023. The South African Social Agency (SASSA) released the various payment dates for the month of June 2023, they are as follows:
- Older Persons Grant – Friday, 2 June 2023
- Disability Grant – Monday, 5 June 2023
- Child Grant – Friday, 6 June 2023
- Foster Care Grants – Friday, 6 June 2023
- Care Dependency – Friday, 6 June 2023
- Child Support Grant s- Friday, 6 June 2023
SASSA has encouraged beneficiaries to not hurry to collection points when they receive their payment SMS to avoid long queues and the possibility of being turned away without any assistance.
SASSA Grant Amounts October 2023
The following increases became effective on 1 October 2023:

- SASSA old-age pension grants will increase to R2090 for recipients between 60 and 74 years old and R2110 for recipients between over 75 years old (R10 raise).
- The SASSA Disability Grant will increase to R2090, R10 more.
- SASSA Child Support Grant goes up to R510, a rise of R10.
- Foster Child Grant from SASSA will increase to R1130, by R10.
- There is a R10 increase to SASSA grants for Child Care Dependency. The amount is now R2090.
- The SASSA War Veterans Grant will go up to R2110, by R10.
- The Grant-In-Aid from SASSA will increase to R510, R10 more than before.
- Only the Child Support Grant Top-Up remains UNCHANGED at R250.
