ESWATINI Bank offers you an opportunity to own your dream house through its housing loan products.
The Bank’s housing loan products are Urban Housing (Residential and Commercial) and Rural Housing (Residential and Commercial).
In addition, the Bank offers Silulu product, which enables you to access finance on existing loan for expenses such as renovations of your house.
Urban Housing loans can be used to buy a plot or a house, or to construct a house in an urban area within Eswatini.
The Rural Housing Loan facility can only be used to construct a house on Swazi Nation Land (SNL).
The commercial loans are for purposes such as construction or purchases of flats, office blocks, shopping complexes etc.
To qualify for a housing loan, you need your salary deductions to be within 33.3 percent and the repayment period is 20 years or the remainder of years to retirement.
The Bank has further made it easy to acquire these loan products. For instance, for a Residential Housing Loan you need, amongst other things, Deed of Sales, latest salary advice slip, Valuation report, proof of residence, Employer’s Letter and house plan (if you are constructing house).
For Commercial Housing Loan you need, amongst other things, Deed of Sales, Valuation Report, Business Plan and audited financials, permit to build by local municipality, and Proof of Residence for company directors as well as their Identity Documents.
The Bank also offers loans to CIVIL SERVANTS at preferential rates.
